Project goals and tasks
1
The most powerful energy enterprise in Mykolaiv, “Mykolaiv Heat and Power Plant”, approached us with the task of creating a concise and modern website for their service consumers.
2
At the beginning of our cooperation, the CHP already had its domain and a website with outdated design, complex usability, and an inconvenient website administration process.

The goal was to maximize usability, with an intuitively understandable design and easy content moderation through a simple admin panel. Our audience consists of people who rarely deal with website moderation, so simplicity was key.

Logo, color scheme and typography

We chose a contrasting blue and yellow colour palette: blue shades for the overall background, yellow buttons, and crisp white accent inserts.

Instructions, tariff pages, management pages containing contact information, various documentation + standard Blog integration.

What about the tech stack?

  • We chose WordPress because this CMS is best suited for portals and news directories.

  • We did the layout of pages and layout integration into the CMS WordPress, and connected the site to the existing domain.

  • We developed a modern website with a custom design and a non-standard page structure, including both textual content and registration pages for individual physical and legal entities.

Adaptive design

Adaptive design is important because it makes sure the online store works well on all kinds of devices and screen sizes. This keeps users happy and helps the site show up better on Google because it likes mobile-friendly sites. So, it’s a big part of modern web design, making the site reach more people and keeping them engaged.

What does this mean for people?

As a result, we have developed a modern website with easy management, serving as a reliable platform for informing the residents of Mykolaiv about heat energy consumption.
