The national program was created jointly with state and international partners and launched on January 1, 2026 by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Project goal:

provide a simple and user-friendly online tool for sharing information and enabling appointment routing to healthcare facilities for preventive health screening.

Project objectives and milestones
A simple and accessible interface designed for users aged 40 and above.

The primary audience consists of Ukrainian citizens aged 40+

who are at increased risk of cardiovascular disease and diabetes, with a focus on informing them about annual health screenings.

Key design expectations:
  • follow the brand guidelines,

  • ensure maximum simplicity,

  • use large fonts,

  • provide clear instructions,

  • ensure responsiveness for both mobile and desktop devices.

Compliance with accessibility standards WCAG 2.2 Level AA.

Visual style and design

The website features a restrained and minimalist style. This approach suits public information resources, as it ensures the content is accessible to a wide audience without creating barriers to understanding.

The content is organized into clear, logical sections:

  • program objectives

  • how to make an appointment

  • what screening is and who can take it

  • frequently asked questions

Screening purpose

The early detection program for cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental health issues aims to help Ukrainian citizens take care of their health, identify chronic disease risks, and prevent complications. People from all social backgrounds can complete a comprehensive check‑up conveniently, free of charge, in a single visit, and at a location that is convenient for them.

Web accessibility (WCAG)

WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is an international standard for content accessibility. For GovTech projects, where services operate at the state level, implementing WCAG is not only a mark of quality but also a matter of public responsibility and equal opportunity. On the “Health Screening 40+” web landing page, we applied WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility standards.

What does this mean for people?

The program helps people not only complete a basic medical check‑up but also understand the importance of regular preventive care and maintaining health before serious issues arise. Digital solutions make it easier to provide information, guide users, and reduce barriers to accessing healthcare services.
