Vseturbota – a platform for caregivers

"Vseturbota" is an important project supported by the Ukrainian-Swiss project "Acting for Health", which helps people with limited mobility and their caregivers in Ukraine.

In response to the growing demand for medical and social care, we created an easy-to-use website based on the CMS WordPress, providing access to educational materials, recommendations, and video tutorials. The platform helps caregivers take better care of those they support, offering a user-friendly interface for searching and managing content, adapted for older users.

Project tasks

Develop a simple and clear design focused on elderly users.

Ensure the ability to add a large number of videos.

Implement an easy-to-use search for necessary materials.

Provide access to valuable resources and recommendations for caregivers and their dependents.

Challenges

The main challenge was to create a comprehensible platform for older users without using popular solutions familiar to younger audiences. It was crucial to provide a simple interface from the first moment of use and avoid complex animations.

Development and implementation

We conducted design sessions with the client, showcasing the results in Figma. After brainstorming, we focused on two key points 👇

All key materials were placed on the main page to ensure easy access.

Content and navigation specifications

For user-friendly navigation, all key materials are accessible on the main page, simplifying navigation — users can easily proceed to related articles if interested. We enabled the ability to change the order of materials, allowing the client to effortlessly add new articles and customize their presentation.

What does this mean for people?

An intuitive platform for the "Vseturbota" initiative that provides easy access to medical and social resources for people with chronic conditions, significantly improving the quality of medical and social support in communities. We moved in the same rhythm as our client and are immensely grateful for being entrusted with implementing another important social initiative!
